The Physics Department at The University of Mary Washington seeks applications for an Adjunct Faculty position for the Fall 2017 semester.

A Master degree in Physics is required. Candidates with Ph.D. in physics and experience in effective teaching are preferred. The successful candidate should be able to teach introductory algebra-based physics for non-science students.

REQUIREMENTS:
The successful candidate will teach introductory physics, astronomy for non-majors, and other physical science courses as needed, both online and face to face. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Physics and demonstrated strengths in undergraduate science education and in developing an ongoing research program in underground physics.
